Bhavya Gupta, Design Minor alumni (2015-19) won the Reimagine Challenge hosted by Schmidt Futures (New York), and bags $25,000 in tuition scholarships.
Bhavya Gupta, after completing her undergraduate degree in Engineering and a Minor in Design (batch of 2015-19), joined MFA Design and Technology at the prestigious Parsons School of Design at The New School, New York.
Schmidt Futures (New York) floated the Reimagine Challenge, intending to find and encourage innovative solutions supporting the communities and areas most affected by Covid-19. More than 800 students in 40 different countries applied for the Reimagine Challenge and the top 20 including Bhavya’s project titled “The Untold Stories: Migrant Women in India and Empowering their Entrepreneurial Efforts” was awarded.
Each of the 20 winners is eligible to receive up to $25,000 in tuition scholarships, and the institution where each winner is currently enrolled is eligible to receive up to $25,000 in additional prizes per winning entry from their school.
